Welcome to the website of Roqfolly English Springer Spaniels

Staring in 1983 with the arrival of the first Springer, RITZY RAZZAMATAZ, the ROQFOLLY Spaniels have achieved many successes over the last 26 years.

Now owned in partnership with my wife Ceri and ably assisted by daughter Jessica, we moved 3 years ago to the picturesque Carmarthenshire village of Llanedi and run a busy boarding kennels and cattery.

Visitors here are always amazed at the wonderful surroundings, yet we retain easy accessibility being situated only 2 miles from the M4 motorway.

We have bred 3 Show Champions English Springers – two of these also gained their Irish Show Champion titles.

Several overseas champions – in both English Springer and Cocker Spaniels have also carried the Roqfolly name.

We are mindful, however, that the majority of puppies will go as much loved family companions and as such outstanding temperament is a key priority in our breeding program.

Whilst not suggesting we are able to combat nature in any way, shape or form, we do take great care in any litters both at the planning and development stage, and all our dogs and mothers have been eye tested clear for PRA, MRD etc. In addition, all stud dogs have been passed clear of Goniodysgenesis.

We are currently undertaking a program of DNA testing to ensure we are able to move forward with as much information about our own dogs as possible.

Over the years we have combined the “Best of British” breeding with top overseas lines- from Australia and have also imported a bitch from Sweden. Combined with our original lines these combinations have proved invaluable over the years with the successes achieved both in the home kennel and elsewhere where our dogs may have been used.

We have also achieved successes in Cocker Spaniels – notably in particolours, but have also added solid colours to our kennels – again only using the very best bloodlines.
